After all these efforts, seeing your new couch is a satisfying experience. Even more satisfying is lying down on the soft and fluffy new couch and enjoying that well-earned nap on it. After all the hard work, you will realize that it was all definitely worth it.
Another of the advantages of buying leather sofas for living and dining rooms is their durability. Leather sofa suites might come at a premium price, but once bought, they are sure to remain with you for life. The leather used in the making of these sofas is an extremely durable material that can last the test of time and can remain unharmed even if it is put to rough use. The ability of leather to handle the elements of nature makes furniture made from it so reliable. Buying leather furniture is thus, a lifetime investment that you are not going to regret.
Pure quality of leather is no doubt expensive. If affording leather furniture is not a problem for you, then you must go for the best quality. A higher grade leather has complete matte texture and is devoid of luster. Lower grade leather is mixed with micro acrylic resins which renders shine to the leather. Leather comes in four different forms, viz, full grain, top grain, corrected grain and split grain. Full grain leather is made up of purest form of hides which has not been snuffed, sanded or buffered. It's also the most durable form of leather and is expensive. Split layers of the hide are separated in top-grain leather variety. Since one layer has been removed, top grain leather is thinner than full grain leather. It also has certain advantages over full grain leather. The former can be maintained and cleaned easily and its price is also less. Corrected leather is given a finish by adding artificial grains. The hide is subjected to treatment for the purpose of producing either pigmented or semi aniline variety. Split leather is also created artificially from the fiber that has been separated from the raw hide. A faux leather sofa is also an alternative for expensive leather sofas. From the differences explained, you can easily make out that top grain leather is preferred mostly by all. You can opt of full grain leather only if price and maintenance are not a botheration for you.
